Mission Statement

To foster the field of festival culture for which rituals, celebrations, carnivals, and gatherings, etc. are an important part, we have established an annual symposium and journal. This is to enhance public engagement, support and strengthen life-long learning, teaching and professional development.

 

Through this platform, we aim to create a space for collaboration, and exchange of ideas, to provide an open and inclusive environment for well-known and lesser-known rituals, festivals carnivals, etc. worldwide. It is our hope that our symposium and journal will enable people from all walks of life to contribute to a better understanding and appreciation of culture.​
